Education: High school graduate or have a GED certificate.

Experience: Prior experience in correctional security field is desired. Ability to monitor and control groups engaged in recreational activities is desirable. In-service training in the security field is a continuing requirement.

Knowledge: Ability to acquire knowledge of the employee and resident policies, rules and regulations, and the overall operation of a penal institution, with proficiency in resident supervision. Must have character traits of maturity and stability to act and react in a calm and rational manner under extreme stress.

Starting Salary:  23,500 / yr
