Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and three years' journeyman experience or a high school diploma and five years' journeyman experience and must meet Oklahoma Education Agency certification requirements.

Description:

• Plans and directs learning activities of adult resident students.

• Meets professional growth requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

• Participates in in-service training as required.

• Participates in all evaluations and self-studies as required by the Oklahoma Education Agency and the southern association of colleges and Schools.

• Serves on curriculum, textbook and other committees as assigned.

• Maintains lesson plans in accordance with the criteria established by the proposed unit policy.

• Maintains accurate attendance records in the manned prescribed by proposed unit.

• Submits reports as required by program needs and administrative request.

• Gives clear oral and written instructions to students.

• Maintains classroom control; is firm, fair and consistent with students.

• Prepares and uses various methods to teach basic concepts for subject level.

• Plans activities for students' individual needs and engages and maintains the interest of students in instructional activity.

• Administers diagnostic placement tests, achievement tests, curriculum tests and/or other tests as required by the Learning Supervisor.

• Arranges seating, materials and displays in such a manner as to harmonize with instructional aims and procedures.

• Keeps informed of and complies with all policies and procedures pertinent to the use of instructional materials, equipment, equipment and textbooks.

• Applies knowledge, training and appropriate media in a systems approach to instruction as outlined in curriculum guides.

• Follows statutory and Oklahoma Education Agency regulations when applicable.

Starting Salary:  32,500 / yr
